Haunted House at Fort Whoop-Up

There is a scary good time at the Fort Whoop-Up Replica Fort, with the Fort Whoop-Up Haunted House on October 27-28th! While the fort is usually a great place to learn about the history of Lethbridge, something ghoulish is going on! Ghastly ghosts, spooky spiders, scary skeletons, and so much more are wandering the fort's barracks! Are you brave enough to make it through?

Field of Screams

A bone-chilling adventure awaits you at Spitz Stadium on October 20th! The beloved haunted house returns to the pitch with even more surprises and twists! For those brave enough to break through the brain-eating zombies and sneak past the scary skeletons, you’ll have earned a delicious hot chocolate and s’mores treat. Not to mention, this event is an excellent benefit for the community! The Field of Screams is an important and exciting event that supports the Prairie Baseball Academy Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to local PBA players and students at the Lethbridge College and University of Lethbridge. Don’t get scared away; the field of screams awaits!

Batstravaganza

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre and Alberta Community Bat Program have teamed up with the Southern Alberta Art Gallery to have a bat-tacular event on October 28th from 12 - 5 PM. Batstravanganza is a spooktacular event for all ages to learn about bats and their essential role in nature. While they may hang around all day, they do incredible work for our ecosystems at night! With Games, crafts, an art Gallery, and so much more, the scariest thing is missing this event!

Bikers Building Bridges Drive Thru Trunk or Treat

Are you looking to get in on the candy-collecting fun a little early this year? You’re in luck because Bikers Building Bridges is Hosting its 5th annual drive-thru trunk or treat on October 28th from 4 – 9:30 PM! Families can head to the Lethbridge sports park and drive through the marked trunk or retreat path, stopping at each local business trunk for a treat! Admission is free, and candy is plentiful, so don’t miss this incredible Lethbridge Halloween event!

The Galt Hospital Ghost Tour and Cemetery Tours

Have a gravely strong interest in all things ghoulish and Ghostly? Or do you enjoy gallivanting among the graves of the living dead? You’re in luck since the Galt Museum & Archives has tours all month to satisfy those seeking history and a hauntingly good time. From the St Patrick Cemetery and Mountain View Cemetery Flashlight tours to the Ghost tour on the very Galt property, there is a tour sure to spook and satisfy a hunger for history.

Family Centre Boo Bash @ YMCA

The Lethbridge Family Centre is hosting a Boo Bash on October 28th from 10 AM – 3 PM at the Cor Van Raay YMCA, filled with games, candy, games and activities for the whole family! Kids can enjoy a wide variety of activities, as well as challenges to unleash their creativity and potentially win incredible prizes! You can enter each challenge on social media now, with the winners announced on the day of the Boo Bash. Get in on the fun and prepare for a spooktacular time at the Lethbridge Family Centre Boo Bash!

Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Galt Museum and Archives!

The comedy cult classic rises again to do the time warp and take us all back to 1975, with the Rocky Horror Picture Show screening at the Galt Museum & Archives on Halloween at 9 PM! What better way to spend the spookiest night of the year safe and sound in a museum filled with old objects and incredible times! Grab all your ghoul friends and enjoy this Halloween classic among the history and spirit of Lethbrigde’s past!
