Sip, Taste, Explore! in Southern Alberta Like Never Before!

There are so many things to do in Lethbridge, especially when it comes to local food, drink, and agricultural experiences. Located at the heart of Canada's Premier Food Corridor, there's a wide variety of agri-food tourism to unearth in Lethbridge.

That's why Tourism Lethbridge is launching: Sip, Taste, Explore! A Southern Alberta AgriVenture Sip, Taste, Explore! is an experience pass made to tantalize tastebuds and take you all over the region to discover local food, drink, and agricultural experiences. The best part? You'll be collecting points, accessing exclusive deals, and earning prizes along the way!

Sip, Taste, Explore! A Southern Alberta AgriVenture gives visitors and locals in Lethbridge an easy way to discover local food, drink, and agricultural experiences, while offering exclusive deals and earning incredible prizes! With more than 30 participating locations at launch and even more to come, there’s lots to keep you sipping, tasting, and exploring in Southern Alberta for days! Just don’t forget to cash in your points at the end of your AgriVenture for incredible prizes!

To get started, head over to the Sip, Taste, Explore! web page, where you can sign up and have your own Sip, Taste, Explore! pass sent to you via email or text. From there, you can add the Sip, Taste, Explore! webapp as an app icon on your smartphone to access all the exclusive deals and coupons directly from there, without downloading a bulky app.

Once your pass is loaded onto your phone, you can see a list of participating locations near you. You can use the list of participating locations and deals for AgriVenture inspiration and to decide where to start your Sip, Taste, Explore! AgriVenture! When you arrive at a participating Sip, Taste, Explore! locations, look for the Sip, Taste, Explore! poster with a four-digit pin; this is your Check-in Pin!

To check in, open the Sip, Taste, Explore! webapp on your phone, and check in! Once you check in, your points will automatically be added to your pass' total, and you can get to enjoying fresh food, local drinks, and unique agricultural experiences in Southern Alberta.

Each check-in at participating locations earns you 5-10 points on your AgriVenture. Many locations are within walking distance of each other, meaning you can plan a night out or an afternoon downtown to collect points on your Sip, Taste, Explore! AgriVenture. You can then redeem your points for spectacular Sip, Taste, Explore! prizes.

Once you’ve saved enough points, you can redeem them for exclusive Sip, Taste, Explore! prizes. 30 points will earn you one of four glitter stickers of your choosing or a Lethbridge Pen. 50 Points will get you an insulated Sip, Taste, Explore! tote bag. 75 points will earn you 1 of 7 collectible posters of local attractions. A different local artist illustrated each of the 7 collectable posters! To redeem your points for a reward: head to the rewards section in the Sip, Taste, Explore! web app, select the reward you want to redeem, and check out!

After you make your redemption in the Sip, Taste, Explore! web app, head to the Tourism Lethbridge Visitor Information Centre or Downtown BRZ to pick up your prize!

When you arrive at the redemption location, use the Sip, Taste, Explore! web app to access your reward history, select the prize redemption order you’re picking up, click “validate pick-up,” and voila! Your prize will be given to you.

From there, you can keep the AgriVenture going and continue to Sip, Taste, and Explore everything Southern Alberta has to offer, or head home with a stomach full of memories and your AgriVenture earnings!
