After moving to Alberta, Dave spent time in Calgary before moving to Lethbridge, in 2014, where his two most recent musical projects have come to life. July 20th: Cody Hall Band & Atomicos

Cody Hall is an up-and-coming singer and songwriter who blends the sounds of folk and country music to make a sound that is distinctly his own. With the addition of his emotion-embroidered vocals and nostalgia-embellished lyrics, Cody Hall connects with his audiences in a uniquely personal way. In addition to Cody Hall's Band, “Atomicos” will also be performing on July 20th.

Inspired by the prairies of wheat that roll like a golden ocean, Southern Alberta-tinged surf-rock comes to Upside Downtown courtesy of Atomicos. With the groove and funk of ocean-punk, and a little bit of the psychedelic melancholy of the 80s comes the laid-back but still funky tunes of Atmoicos. Don’t miss this incredible double feature of the Casa Upside Downtown Concert Series!

July 27th: Cousin Harley

The trio known as Cousin Harley is a jack of all trades. They can swing like the jazz musicians of the past, sing like their supper depends on it, and explode in charismatic action when they take the stage. A Cousin Harley show is anything but boring, or run-of-the-mill. With over 20 years performing together, it’s always a treat when our favorite Cousin Harley comes down from Vancouver to give the performance of a lifetime! Don’t miss the explosive and exciting performance that Cousin Harley is sure to bring to Rotary Square at Casa on July 27th.

With just a guitar and his voice, John Wort Hannam can weave stories from his past in vivid clarity, and with adept emotional fidelity.

August 17: Bailey Kate

Complexity created through layers of simplicity gives the music of Bailey Kate an effortless, almost clandestine familiarity. The smooth harmonies enhanced by sweeping and expansive musical arrangements allow for a holistically moving and inspiring performance from Bailey Kate on each stage she occupies. From the first note to the last, audiences lower their voices and crane their necks to catch a glimpse of this rising local star.
